A personal message

This is my story…

I found the A.M. radio dial at seven years old and heard Jack Buck say “That’s a Winner” on the voice of MidAmerica, KMOX 1120. When my sports career was cut short by an injury and type one diabetes, I dedicated my life to serving in ministry, education and sports media. I’ve served as a teacher and a coach, a sports information director and then started my own business for multimedia. My talents are many but my voice is my greatest blessing and asset.

When we work together, you will see my passion for preparation and professionalism in the industry, and my energy and style on the mic and with your team. My experiences began with my grandfather as a dedicated farmer and Gospel bass singer, my dad singing Keith Whitley in the truck, and my school running through the tunnel to Welcome to the House that the Devils Built.

In 2015, a professional/collegiate organization gave me a chance to prove that no stage was too big, and I look forward to making sure your organization has a trusted voice to convey your mission, your heart and your future. Let’s work together.

About Kris

Kris is the managing partner and founder of SMS Multimedia. His wife Jennifer, is a manager of administration, payroll and benefits, at the Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum. His daughter Madison is a law school grad student at Northeastern University in Boston and his son is a broadcaster and photographer and student at Middle Tennessee State University.
